Notice of the 2025 Annual General Meeting

Notice is herby given that the Annual General Meeting
of
Beenleigh Yatala Chamber of Commerce
is to be held at
Club Beenleigh
28A Alamein Street Beenleigh
on the
26th September 2025 at 7.00am

The business of the Annual General Meeting shall be:

  1. Welcome and approval of the register of meeting attendees eligible to vote and apologies.
  2. Minutes from previous year's Annual General Meeting.
  3. Business Arising from the previous minutes.
  4. Annual Report of the Chamber of Commerce, including the Annual Financial Statements
  5. Voting on Constitution
  6. Announcement of election results
  7. Conduct a ballot of any motions/resolutions put on notice.
  8. Appointment of the Auditor and Public Officer for 2026

Become a Driving Force in the Beenleigh Yatala Community

Are you passionate about shaping the future of Beenleigh Yatala? We invite you to join the Beenleigh Yatala Chamber of Commerce Committee.

As a committee member, you'll play a vital role in representing the interests of local businesses and driving positive change in our community. Your commitment of approximately 10-15 hours per month will involve attending monthly meetings (typically on the second Tuesday, 5:30-6:30 pm) and networking events (usually the third week of the month).

Our diverse committee is dedicated to fostering a thriving business environment, connecting members with valuable resources, and advocating for the needs of our community. We collaborate closely with all levels of government to ensure the best possible outcomes for local businesses.

If you share our vision for a vibrant Beenleigh Yatala and are a financial member of the chamber, we encourage you to submit a nomination via the attached  form to secretary@bycc.com.au by 5 pm on September 12, 2025.

Under our rules, any changes to the constitution must be approved by our membership. Please find attached a copy of the draft constitution proposal for your review.

Should you have any feedback, comments, or concerns, we kindly ask that you send these in writing to the Secretary via secretary@bycc.com.au no later than 5:00pm on Friday, 19th September 2025.

Your participation is crucial in shaping the future of the Chamber, and we thank you in advance for taking the time to review and contribute.
