Anglicare Southern Queensland is building a new $13 million youth homeless accommodation facility in Beenleigh, Logan. This 30-unit project aims to address the growing youth homelessness crisis, particularly for those aged 16-25. Anglicare offers support services and hopes this project will provide stability and resources to help young people secure employment, education, and permanent housing. The facility will be staffed 24/7 and offer a mix of studio and one-bedroom apartments. Construction is expected to begin later in 2024 and be completed in late 2025. Anglicare is seeking community support, including donations, to help make this project a reality.

new council aims to utilize a mix of experience, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas to unlock Logan's potential. They'll meet soon to appoint
leadership positions and set the 2024 meeting schedule.
